Hi, Friends!

Jack of all trades, master of one.

I bought my first embroidery machine in the middle of the night, on a total whim. At the time I was selling new homes and working every weekend, and I knew something had to give. Someone had made a piece for me, and I remember looking at it and thinking, I could do that. So I did.

It started with monograms for family. Then I started a family of my own, and things really took off from there. I still can't quite explain the joy of handing someone their finished piece, or spotting one of my designs out in the wild. It gets me every time.

Dilly Dally has had a few addresses. I started in Fort Worth as Cowtown Creations, packed up for Lubbock in 2022, and became Dilly Dally at the end of 2025. Six months later, we found our way back to Fort Worth. I love the name even more now.

It's just me running the show, with a little help from my quality control team: Ellie Anne (3) and Hadley Mae (2). They take their job very seriously. Mostly they "help."

A few things about me

  • I run on caffeine. Mostly Red Bull. Whoops.
  • My girls wear pink, and my husband sneaks in a little camo.
  • I own too many cowgirl boots. His words, not mine.
  • I love to hunt, and Montana summers are my home away from home.
  • If I don't know how to do something, I teach myself. Needlepoint, tractors, light fixtures, you name it. Embroidery is the one I actually mastered.
